History
The natural progression for Jenny after being freelance producer and
production coordinator for 15 years on international feature films,
commercials and documentaries, was to form Pontact Productions in 1995.
Since then we are fortunate to have been constantly busy and the company
has developed into one of Kenya's leading production companies with
a permanent staff of six.
Through Jenny Pont we have been active in developing the film infrastructure in Kenya focusing on creating incentives for companies who want to come and film here. In May 2005 Jenny was chosen as one of the five Kenya Government appointees to sit on the Board of the newly formed Kenya Film Commission.
Pontact Productions are constantly developing service structures for clients such as large location and casting archives, electronic maps and communication structures.
In 2001 Kenya Tax laws included film companies in the Export Processing Zone (EPZ) enabling them to offer VAT exemption for foriegn productions. Pontact Productions EPZ is one of only three film companies registered in this capacity.
